Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.
• Usage — the searches you run inside SpotVest (business type and location) and how many reports you generate, used to operate fair-use limits and improve the product.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. SpotVest never sees or stores your card number; we keep only your subscription status and billing email.
• Messages — anything you send through our contact or request forms, and reviews you submit.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We don't send marketing email to customers without consent — transactional email only (receipts, verification, password resets, account notices).
• We don't run third-party advertising trackers on SpotVest.

Service providers we rely on

Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Render (hosting), Google (sign-in, and the Google Places data inside reports). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Your choices

You can request a copy or deletion of your account data anytime by emailing support@spotvest.ai or using the contact form on spotvest.ai. Reviews you've published can be removed on request. Deleting your account ends data collection; records required for tax or fraud-prevention purposes (e.g., payment history) are retained as the law requires.

Terms of Service

The service

SpotVest provides AI-assisted location analysis for businesses in New York City. Reports combine live third-party data with SpotVest estimates. Reports are decision-support, not guarantees: scores, revenue ranges, cost estimates, and all other outputs are informational screens, not financial, legal, or investment advice. Always verify rent, buildout, permits, and site conditions independently before signing a lease or making an investment.

Subscriptions & billing

• SpotVest Pro is $29/month after a 3-day free trial. A payment method is collected at trial start; the first charge occurs when the trial ends, then monthly.
• Fair use: up to 5 reports per account per calendar day (Eastern Time).
• Cancel anytime via Manage subscription inside the app — access continues to the end of the paid period; no further charges after cancellation.
• One free trial per customer.

Accounts & acceptable use

• One subscription covers one person. Accounts are limited to two active sign-ins; sharing credentials across a team isn't permitted — contact us about team plans instead.
• No scraping, reselling, or systematic extraction of SpotVest data; no use of the service to build a competing dataset.
• Reviews must reflect your genuine experience; we moderate before publishing and may decline or remove any review.

Liability

SpotVest is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We're not liable for business decisions made in reliance on reports.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be noted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
